Selah Retreats

Thanks for your interest in The Selah Retreat!

The Selah Retreat is a 4-day, faith-based creative retreat, with a casual environment open to all women 21 and over. A group of women from across the country will all gather in a beautiful home, make pretty things together, eat yummy food, and make new friendships! Each retreat comes with a special day trip, custom tailored to each location and highlights the beauty of the area.

 September 24-27, 2020 - Leander, Texas (FULL)

Join me as we experience Texas hospitality for four days at Shepherd's Retreat, located in Leander. Our hosts, Mike and Sarah Shepherd, will ensure that we are well taken care of in their private home, as we craft our hearts out. We will be working on four separate crafting projects, eating yummy food and drinking good coffee and wine all while we get to know one another in a relaxed setting. This is a faith-based retreat, but really only in the sense that conversation about God and Jesus are welcome, but not pressured or forced. ALL ARE WELCOME to come, even if you don't consider yourself a Christian or religious/spiritual.

On the third day of the retreat, we will be road tripping to Waco to spend the day at Magnolia! This is a highlight of the trip and an amazing opportunity to spend the day with your new friends in a really fun place. You'll want to bring plenty of spending money (and extra room in your suitcase!) for this day.

Specific details of the retreat:

Thursday, September 24th, the house opens at 4pm, with dinner at 6pm and our first activity starting at 7pm. Please plan your travel to arrive by dinner.

On Sunday, September 27th, the retreat ends at 11am, but nothing is planned for the morning. It's just an opportunity to eat breakfast, pack, and say goodbye.

Cost of the retreat is $599.00. This includes all lodging and projects, most meals, and an amazing swag bag full of handmade goodies from makers across the country. The cost of the swag is over $100 alone and is yours, completely free to you. Travel is on your own...however we may be able to provide a few of you a shuttle from and to the airport. This will be on a first come, first served basis and only available if you are able to fly into the Austin Bergstrom airport by 4pm on Thursday and out after 1pm on Sunday.

While we are unable to accommodate food preferences, we do our best to work with severe food allergies. Please contact me ahead of time if you have any concerns.

My guest teacher is Michelle Nielsen of Teal and Orange Handmade and Anna McClure of Emersyn and June! You will love them as they lead some of our projects with their hearts and expertise.

 October 22-25, 2020 - Seabrook, Washington

I am unbelievably excited to be adding a brand new location to our retreat destinations! Seabrook, Washington is a picture perfect coastal town on the southern coast of Washington. It has a Cape Cod feel to it, and is specifically designed with family and vacation in mind. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, we will spend three nights and four days in a beautiful beach house, learning from some of the best (and most hilarious) teachers on the West Coast. Joining me (pinch me please!) are Julianne DeShayes of Something to Chalk About, Rachael Ridley of Sunshine and Rae'n, and Debbie Canfield of Canfield House, all of whom will be leading us in projects in their expertise. And of course while we are there, we will be munching on delicious meals, lovingly prepared in house by my kitchen team. This is a faith-based retreat, but really only in the sense that conversation about God and Jesus are welcome, but not pressured or forced. ALL ARE WELCOME to come, even if you don't consider yourself a Christian or religious/spiritual.

On the third day of the retreat, we will have some free time to explore the town of Seabrook. It is darling to say the least! We are also just a short walk to the beach, so if hunting for shells and rocks is your thing, you'll love our proximity to the sand. Our free time is a really nice opportunity to spend time with your new friends in a relaxing atmosphere. Bring extra spending money (and room in your suitcase) if you like to go shopping.

Cost of the retreat will range between $575-599 per person, depending on your sleeping arrangements.
