Join me Sunday January 9 through Wednesday January 12, 2022 for a fun and relaxing crafting retreat featuring a day trip to Magnolia in Waco, Texas! This retreat will take place in Leander, Texas, 40 minutes north of the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
Our extended weekend together will include a 3 night stay in a private home, craft sessions with completed projects, most meals (one at Magnolia will be on your own), complimentary wine and beverages, and a jam packed day trip to Waco, Texas on Tuesday to visit Magnolia. In addition, each person will receive a handful of beautiful gifts, aka "swag" from handmade makers across the country. These swag bags alone total more than $100 and are completely free to you.
You will be responsible for your own travel to and from the retreat. Once the group forms, we will start a group on Facebook and if you'd like, you can try to coordinate sharing a rental car if you are flying in. We will also provide ONE 4-5 person shuttle on the day of arrival and departure. A seat in the shuttle will be on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to use the shuttle, please fly in by approximately 4pm, and plan to depart at approximately 1pm.
The total cost of the retreat is $650 per person. There are three spots available:
A single bed in a shared room. A deposit of $350 will be needed to reserve your spot. Your balance will be due in early December.
And a private room in a shared queen bed. These two spots need to be filled with two people who know each other, like two besties, sisters, adult mother/daughter, etc. When you purchase, you will be making a $350/per person deposit, but purchasing two deposits at the same time. So the total to register two people today is $700. The balance of $300 per person is due early December.
Regarding COVID: While we will do our best to keep the home clean and tidy, this retreat will be communal living. Social distancing is not necessarily possible in the home. Masks are welcome, but masks and vaccines will not be required to attend. Upon arrival, you will be required to sign a Participant Agreement Form agreeing that you are coming on your own accord and releasing Selah Creative Company AND the home we are staying at from all responsibility if you were to contract COVID during your stay.
Please only register if you are sure you will be able to attend. Cancellations and refunds after September 17th are only available if your spot can be filled. A waiting list will be compiled, but it is not a guarantee that you spot will be able to be filled.
